Pharrell Williams named as creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear

Louis Vuitton has announced that Pharrell Williams will be taking over as the company's creative director. As the second black American to hold this position, predated by the late Virgil Abloh, it's expected that Williams will continue the re-branding his predecessor began: melding the brand with themes of hip-hop and rap. Williams' first collection will be unveiled during the 2024 Paris Fashion Week this June.

Emu escape: Flightless giant gets loose in Massachusetts

A pet emu escaped her home Thursday night in Edgewater, MA. After being spooked by a wild animal, the emu, named Mallory, jumped the 6-foot fence surrounding her owner's property. She led the police in a riveting chase for three hours before being cornered in the parking lot of a shopping mall.
