Jill Biden sees East Africa drought up close
First Lady Jill Biden connected with Maasai women on the fifth and final day of her trip to Kenya, listening to their stories about an ongoing drought. With a sixth failed rainy season anticipated in the area, farmers and families are getting worried. Biden stated that the United States has provided 70% of the funds sent to help those affected, and urged the rest of the world to assist the Kenyan people.

Moldova: Anti-government protest stirs fears of more unrest
Thousands showed up to an anti-government protest Tuesday, demanding that Moldova stay out of the Russian-Ukrainian War. This was the second protest in the area organized by "Movement for the People", a group calling for the President to step down. While controversial, Moldova's Russian-friendly Shor Party supports their efforts.
