Nursing graduate travels the world as show skater with Royal Caribbean, Disney on Ice
Carley Bryant (School of Nursing '21) thrilled at the opportunity to skate for Disney on Ice. Family and friends are proud of the graduate student in her skating and nursing accomplishments. Bryant uses her testimony to inspire other ice skaters while anticipating a future in women's health, labor and delivery, or midwifery.
Liberty University students will travel to Romania to help Ukrainian refugees
LU Send, partnering with Greater Europe Mission (GEM), is taking a group of students overseas to serve Ukrainian Refugees. This Saturday the team will head to Bucharest, Romania to share the Gospel and assist where they can. Their responsibilities will include clean-up operations, distribution of donations and meals, and entertaining children.
LU fashion student to represent the school at New York Fashion Week
Fashion design major Kristine Johnson won a trip to New York Fashion Week through Liberty's Family and Consumer Sciences department. She'll head to New York in February to network, engage with professionals in the fashion world, and experience the industry. After she returns, Johnson is set to graduate in May and potentially return to earn her master's in costuming.
